It’s Back! Our own a pig/pork share scheme. “Pig your Own”
Have you ever wanted to own your own free range, rare breed pig. Rear an animal to produce the best possible pork for your table, to truly know where your food has come from? But due to space, neighbours, time, paperwork and not knowing how to care for them properly, it’s a dream that will never happen.
This is where our own a pig/pig share scheme is for you. We rear it, look after it, sort out all legal paper work. But you end up with incredible tasting pork, knowing 100% how it has been reared. Not needing to get up all hours of the day and night.
We don’t use standard vaccinations or antibiotics. All our Meat is dry hun, 100% pure. Using traditional husbandy methods.
All the animals are born and raised on our farm, they come from our own breeding stock, we know their bloodlines, everything about their history. We don’t buy in weaners.
If you wish you can choose your piglet and come and see them. (Visiting would need to be pre arrange on a Saturday between our shop opening hours).
We sort out everything at the end, you can trust us to do everything. We have a standard cutting sheet, Chops, Roasting Joints, belly strips, ribs, Sausages.
We believe in rearing things slowly so over time you will see what it takes to rear an animal but at the end know 100% where your food has come from.
We don’t charge extra for our pig scheme, it’s the same as our standard 1/4 1/2 or whole pig.
Or share a pig between friends (1/4) each.
We require a deposit to secure your pig. which will pay for your bedding and first batch of feed.
A second payment is due mid way through, then final payment 2 weeks before collection. This covers the cost of slaughter and your butchery.
With years of pig husbandry behind us (30 for Mike alone, running pig rearing units) you can trust us to rear your pig to the highest of welfare standards, with love and passion for what we do.

Delivery available national wide, in our special temperature controlled boxes. Please message for a quote. But delivery starts from £20 for next day delivery.
