🌸Garden cafe opening times🌸
Wednesday – Friday 🌟10.30am – 3.30pm
It is of upmost importance that we keep both you and our staff safe so it is essential that you read the following carefully to see the changes we have made.
🚜Our Farm shop🚜
For the safety of our customers and staff we will be staying at the 2m rule and one in one out for our Farm Shop , with hand washing equired before entering.
We will be carrying on our collection from the meadow. Message us so we can get your order ready and we can process payment then load your car.
This has been working well for vulnerable people.
We understand there can be a que at times and thank everyone for there continued patience and kindness.
🌸The Garden Cafe🌸
There is a separate entrance for the Garden Cafe and we ask for you to find a table and wait for our server to come and take your order.
The outside tables are set in accordance with social distancing so please do not move them around, they will be kept sanitised.
Payment will be taken at the end from your table.
We are unable to offer toilet facilities, hot food or our inside cafe at this time.
Please bare with us and your patience is greatly appreciated.
Our Toy tractors are back out. There is a separate area for children to use these if there parent or guardian feels happy.
We ask that you saniste them before and after use. (the sanitiser will be next to them) and children stick to the designated area.
You may see our animals but please be mindful of others. There is enough room to allow for social distancing and we ask to wash/sanitise you hands before and after.
The animals have missed seeing all your happy faces, the regular crew are still here and Officer Fonzie has been doing an incredible job at watching over all the lambs.
Lastly thankyou again for your continued support.

We now have a permanent place for you to come and buy our meat. ” The Shed”. (With kind permission of one of our landlords)
An easy way to come every Saturday to pick up your meat and eggs, direct from the Farm.
We also now sell local Artisan Bread and Pastries from “The Friendly Loaf”
Amazing sourdough bread made from local flour milled at Pakerham Water Mill.
Not forgetting Laila’s Raw, Pure, Honey from the hives down the farm.
How food should be.
All food is cooked fresh using all our meat, local artisan bread, local mushrooms & tomatoes. Where possible we use what vegtables and fruit we have grown.
We now have our own ready meal range and homemade artisan pies all made by Katie. These can be cooked from frozen.
“The Shed”@ The Shrubbery,
Hessett, Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk,
The Shed is a place where, in the sunshine you can set outside, enjoy the sights, sounds and smells of the surroundings, children can play/learn/explore. (Children play at parents own risk)
Our small but growing educational garden, fluffy chickens and our runner Ducks meandering around.
Off the road parking in the meadow when weather allows or by the shop itself in bad weather.
The menu will be small and is working progress, but with the ethos of our farm. A fantastic space we would be silly not to utilize.
Teas, Posh Coffees, Marnard House juices, luxury hot chocolates.
Our famous sausage rolls and pork pies.
Fresh Artisan Pastries.
Exciting times ahead with hopefully fresh vegetables from the garden on offer.
(Please inform us of any allergies, food intolerances, or special diary requirements)
